I couldn’t help it, I just had to post a few more of my faves from our session a month ago in Balboa Park.
This tree was sooo amazing. The color of the flowers is unreal, but actually real 🙂 (no crazy digital effects here, folks).
The simplicity of this shot is nice.
I love how the light is spotlighting them.
awww. . . .
Kelly had such a cool ring, I just had to do a ring shot.
My fav shot of the day- the look on Kelly’s face is just so in love. And the backlighting, how romantic!
I love the soft, painterly quality of this shot.
We ended the day in front of the Museum of Man.
It was a fun shoot and I’m excited for their La Jolla wedding. Once again, I’ll put a plug out for Kelly- she works at Behind the Scenes Catering– and they do yummy work- check ’em out!
They had a beautiful intimate ceremony on the beach with just close friends and family.
I really love this shot with the ribbon on her dress blowing and the beautiful light.
Here’s a photos of the whole gang that was at the ceremony.
Congrats to Michael and Melissa!!
My fiance- Albert’s best friend James just got married this weekend. I attended as a guest, but of course had to take some photos. Here are a few:
They had their ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in National City which has a beautiful interior.
This is my fiance- Albert- as best man walking out from the ceremony.
And here’s the happy, just married, bride and groom.
All the guys. . .
The groom taking a break from the formal photos, to then have me take photos of him 🙂
Me and my fiance!! (Photo taken by my future brother-in-law AJ)
Their beautiful room at the Sheraton San Diego.
The grand entrance.
First dance
Always a ham, James.
And the bow. . .
It was a super fun day and James and Mannette are now off in Hawaii- lucky!
Here are more images from their beautiful wedding at the Immaculate Conception Church.
Glenda looked gorgeous in her dress with her beautiful chapel veil. I also loved her hair with the flowers!
Immaculate Conception Church is great for weddings- it has beautiful light, and of course the amazing mural behind the altar.
I love the lighting of this following shot. It’s so dramatic.
See, isn’t her hairstyle great?
They had a neat Bentley limo.
I love the dreamy quality of this black and white shot.
The grand entrance- I love how happy they look.
They had the best entertainment starting with the Irish dancing of the Rose Academy. They were awesome!
Then it was the music of Mariachis Real.
The boys.
Then they had more live music! Barry Cohen and the Big Daddy Orchestra, who plays a wide variety of great dance songs.
Barry Cohen himself.
Joe’s mom having a great time dancing. I love this shot, with the different patterns on the ladies’ dresses- it’s so fun.
All in all it was a fabulous day- a beautiful ceremony and super fun night with all the great entertainment. And the day ran so smoothly thanks so much to the great wedding planner Kelly from Mint Weddings.
Congrats again Joe & Glenda!!
Their wedding was gorgeous, and so was Jessica- I loved her dress! It was yesterday at the Menghini Winery up in Julian, and the weather was beautiful.
More to come later!
